The Asian Docs Co-production Network Project is a groundbreaking two-year collaborative initiative that brings together emerging documentary filmmakers and scholars from Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Now in its 6th season (2025-2026), the project continues to inspire with the creation of documentary films set to premiere at the prestigious DMZ International Documentary Film Festival in 2026. Partnering with leading film schools and organizations, it empowers 14 students from seven universities to produce four compelling documentaries under the guidance of nine international faculty mentors.

This transnational platform fosters creative storytelling while building a vibrant network of educational institutions, film festivals, and non-profit organizations. It also highlights the evolving role of documentaries in promoting cultural exchange and driving social transformation.
